Lynn Solutions

Monthly bookkeeping and outsourced accounting for growing Washington businesses.

You did not build your business to spend your time chasing reconciliations, correcting errors, and wondering if your numbers are right. Lynn Solutions runs the money side — the books, the reporting, the systems, and the day-to-day details — so you can focus on running the business.

THE PROBLEM

Most bookkeepers just categorize transactions. That is not enough for a growing business.

You hired a bookkeeper to take the financial side off your plate. But if you are still chasing reports, catching mistakes, managing software, and wondering what your numbers actually mean — the bookkeeping is not doing its job.

Growing businesses do not just need someone to enter transactions. They need someone running the money side — reconciliation, reporting, payroll coordination, Washington tax filing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, software workflows, and the month-to-month rhythm that keeps everything accurate and visible.

That is what Lynn Solutions does.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Everything that keeps the financial side of your business running right.

Monthly Bookkeeping & Outsourced Accounting is not a menu of individual line items. It is a complete outsourced accounting engagement — scoped to match the complexity, volume, and needs of your business.

Books & Reconciliation

Monthly bookkeeping. Bank and credit card reconciliation. Month-end close. Transaction review and cleanup.

Reporting & Visibility

Monthly financial reports. Profit and loss. Balance sheet. Cash flow visibility. Reports that show what is actually happening — not just numbers on a page.

Payroll & Washington Tax Filing

Payroll coordination with your payroll provider. Washington DOR combined excise, FileLocal city B&O, and L&I filing as part of bookkeeping scope. Tax-related account review inside QuickBooks. Federal income tax stays with your CPA. See also: Washington sales tax filing best practices.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

AR visibility and tracking. AP support. Invoice review. Outstanding balance monitoring.

Software & Systems

Software coordination across QuickBooks, payroll, invoicing, and other finance tools. Workflow monitoring. Catching issues before they compound.

Owner Support

Regular owner check-ins. Proactive communication when something needs attention. A finance partner who is paying attention — not waiting to be asked.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

The difference between a bookkeeper and an outsourced accounting partner.

Most bookkeepers deliver a reconciled set of books at the end of the month. That is the floor, not the ceiling.

Lynn Solutions runs the money side of your business — the reporting, the systems, the coordination between software, the proactive monitoring, and the communication that keeps business owners informed instead of guessing.

Most bookkeepers

  • Categorize transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts.
  • Send reports when asked.
  • React to problems after they surface.
  • Work in isolation from the rest of your operations.

Lynn Solutions

  • Manages the full monthly financial cycle.
  • Coordinates with payroll, invoicing, and tax workflows.
  • Monitors AR, AP, and cash visibility.
  • Catches errors and tax issues proactively.
  • Communicates with owners before small issues become expensive ones.
  • Improves the systems and processes behind the books — not just the books themselves.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Monthly support scoped to how the books actually run.

This service fits owner-led Washington businesses that want the money side handled — from smaller operations with straightforward books to growing companies with more complexity. Many monthly engagements serve businesses with roughly $1M–$10M+ in revenue. We also work with smaller businesses, scoped to fit.

Common fits include professional services firms and contractors and trades businesses.

You are a good fit if:

You are tired of managing or correcting the bookkeeping yourself. Your reports do not give you a clear picture of the business. You need someone coordinating across QuickBooks, payroll, invoicing, and tax. You want proactive financial support — not just reactive data entry.

Many of our clients pay $1,500/month as a minimum for full-service work. We also offer scoped packages for smaller businesses whose books are more straightforward. Cleanup and special projects are quoted separately.

  • 5 years in business
  • 20+ clients served
  • Experience with $1M–$50M+ businesses

Reduced recurring invoicing errors to virtually zero for multiple client workflows. Caught multiple tax and accounting issues inside QuickBooks before they became more expensive problems.

Built AR tracking systems that gave clients direct visibility into who owes what. Identified and implemented a solution to a recurring outsourced accounting problem that was costing a client $40K+ per year.

Their responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to getting things right have made a huge difference for our business. I truly cannot recommend Lynn Solutions highly enough.

QUESTIONS

FAQ

What does monthly bookkeeping include at Lynn Solutions?
Monthly bookkeeping at Lynn Solutions includes transaction recording, bank and credit card reconciliation, month-end close, financial reports, payroll coordination, Washington tax filing (DOR combined excise, FileLocal city B&O, and L&I), accounts receivable and payable visibility, software coordination, and regular owner check-ins. It is a full outsourced accounting engagement, not just data entry. For a detailed breakdown of what strong monthly bookkeeping should cover — and what to ask any provider — see our guide: What Does Monthly Bookkeeping Include?
How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?
Many of our clients pay $1,500/month as a minimum for full-service work. We also offer scoped packages for smaller businesses whose books are more straightforward. Cleanup and special projects are quoted separately.
What is the difference between bookkeeping and outsourced accounting?
Bookkeeping is the recording and reconciling of financial transactions. Outsourced accounting includes bookkeeping but also covers reporting, payroll coordination, Washington tax filing, accounts receivable and payable management, software coordination, workflow monitoring, and proactive financial management. Lynn Solutions provides both under one engagement.
What software does Lynn Solutions work with?
Lynn Solutions works with QuickBooks, Xero, Buildertrend, Gusto, ADP, Bill.com, Google Sheets, and other finance and operations tools. We can also help with software handoffs and workflow cleanup between tools.
How often will I get financial reports?
Financial reports are delivered monthly after the books are closed. Depending on the engagement, you may also receive interim visibility into key numbers like cash position, AR aging, or AP status. Reports are designed to show you what is actually happening in the business — not just raw numbers.
Do I need to clean up my books before starting monthly support?
Not necessarily. If your books need cleanup, Lynn Solutions can handle that first through a Cleanup & Catch-Up engagement, then transition into monthly support once the foundation is solid. Many clients start with cleanup and move into ongoing monthly bookkeeping afterward.
Can Lynn Solutions coordinate with my CPA or tax preparer?
Yes. Lynn Solutions regularly coordinates with CPAs and tax preparers on federal income tax. We file Washington DOR combined excise, FileLocal city B&O, and L&I as part of bookkeeping scope. We are not a CPA firm and do not provide federal income tax preparation, tax advice, attestation, or audit services.
What industries does Lynn Solutions work with?
Lynn Solutions works primarily with professional services firms, contractors, trades businesses, and other growing service-based businesses across Washington State. The common thread is businesses that have outgrown basic bookkeeping and need reliable outsourced accounting support.
